My Resumée

I studied psychology in Darmstadt and Heidelberg (graduated in 2015) and am currently at the end of my advanced training in depth psychology-based psychotherapy. I always find the individual life story of each person particularly exciting and how the experiences made influence today's emotional world, relationships and life decisions. Although I was interested in psychological topics at an early age, it still took me time and various experiences to discover the therapeutic path for myself professionally. Therefore, during my studies I was particularly interested in topics around inner ambivalences and decision-making problems. How can one manage to find the right path for oneself and then still have the courage to follow it?

Here, the phase of studying is a particularly exciting one! You gain a lot of experience and try out different things in order to find out what is important to you and with whom and with what you want to shape your life. You deepen your knowledge in specific areas of interest, and your relationship with your family and your environment changes. All in all, what has been familiar up to now is put to the test by new (performance-) requirements, ways of living and contacts. It is often a matter of a piecemeal independence, each test is a piece of a threshold situation and a new challenge.

Of course, all of this can sometimes frighten or overwhelm you, and you sense that something is not right or fitting. Maybe you are unsure whether you are on the right track, regret that you are not making any progress, or have the feeling that you took a wrong turn a long time ago. Maybe you are carrying old burdens around with you that make the path more difficult, or you wish you had some additional equipment to feel up to future climbs. Or you just feel very much alone on the long haul and are looking for companions to accompany you on the exciting or frightening path. Even if the pressure to change is often great, it is usually worthwhile to take a close look at what is lacking, what inhibits and worries, but also what works well, strengthens and gives support.

I will be happy if you find the courage to make an initial consultation appointment, and together we can see where the journey will take us!
