In the winter semester 2012/2013, the first tenants moved in in the new and modern residence with two buildings. Around the buildings are forests and meadows with benches where students like to study or relax. The surroundings are also ideal for athletes. The beautiful outdoor area with tennis tables also invites you to play together. The Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University (DHBW), the Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences (HKA), the Karlsruhe University of Education (PH) and the Karlsruhe State Academy of Fine Arts are located in the immediate vicinity.
The residence is a pure apartment building; each room is equipped with its own bathroom and kitchenette. There is a bar, a music room and a workshop for the tenants to use. A games rental service is available to all residents of the Residence Tennesseeallee.
