M.Sc. in Psychology, Psychological Psychotherapist in Training (Specializing in Behavioral Therapy) Employee at the counseling center since June 2026.
My ResumeI grew up in a small village in a suburb of Karlsruhe. At home, I was strongly influenced by Vietnamese culture—by the language, the unique and delicious dishes, but also by different social norms and values. In kindergarten, I quickly realized that the world outside my family worked differently. Children learn quickly: I spoke more and more German and, over time, noticed that different expectations were placed on me depending on my surroundings. It has always been a challenge for me to bridge the two cultures and find my own place between them. Perhaps that is also why my fascination with psychology is so closely tied to my own story. I want to understand what drives people, what experiences have shaped them, and why we are the way we are. I'm interested in why we behave in certain ways and what personal stories lie behind our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.
My own experiences continue to shape and enrich my therapeutic work to this day. It is important to me to meet you where you are right now and to guide and support you as best as possible in your current situation. At the same time, I want to take the time to get to know you as a person and to understand your personal story, your experiences, and your perspective. I place great importance on ensuring that our collaboration is tailored to your needs.
Practical experience: Various internships in rehabilitation for people with mental illness, psychosomatic medicine, and general psychiatry; working student at a psychotherapy practice; psychotherapy training since 2023; and, finally, 1.5 years in general psychiatry and 1 year at a psychological counseling center.
