Lusoria Rhenana - Joint Roman boat trip on the Rhine | July 27, 2024
05.07.2024Together we go on a rowing tour on the Lusoria Rhenana, a detailed replica of a Roman river warship from late antiquity, which was once used for defense against Germanic tribes on the Rhine.
On this trip, we immerse ourselves in history and learn how the Romans defended the Rhine against the invasions of the "barbarian tribes" around 1700 years ago. An experienced crew will guide us and provide detailed information about the history, rowing techniques, shipbuilding and use of ancient ships.
