TANDEM PROGRAM „PELICAN“ AT THE KIT
The student group "Engagement for Refugees" at the Institute of German Studies offers the tandem programme "Pelican" (Personal Intercultural Academic Network). Pelican arranges tandems of one student and one refugee who has already worked in an academic environment in their home country or is interested in studying at KIT. GUEST LISTENER PROGRAM AT THE KIT
KIT has opened its guest student programme to refugees and, together with the student representatives of AStA, offers supportive events and counselling. As guest students, refugees are able to get into university life relatively early by attending lectures and getting to know other students. PROGRAM KIT-STUDENT AMBASSADORS AT THE KIT
The KIT Study Ambassadors programme supports the study and career orientation of refugees in the Karlsruhe region. Upon invitation, KIT students visit transitional homes / refugee initiatives in the Karlsruhe region and provide information in the local languages Arabic, Amharic, English, French, Paschto, Panjabi, Urdu or Tigrinya.You can find more information here.
