Culture for students from students at the Studentisches Kulturzentrum
The Studierendenwerk has set up an organisation that is in charge of the cultural activities inside the Studentenhaus. The Studentisches Kulturzentrum is a non-profit organisation and its function is to support student cultural work on idea-based and financial levels. The Studierendenwerk Karlsruhe is one of the three founding members of the centre, alongside the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology and the Studentendienst Karlsruhe e.V. Its activities include the publication of the cultural calendar Leporello, the management of plays, movie screenings, exhibitions, and musical performances. In addition, they offer different workshops. For instance, the video group of Karlsruhe University (VadUK), offers various workshops regarding video and film.
